Pancakes!!!

I always ask the boys what they want for dinner when I'm out of ideas. Last night Shaun was working and it was "that" time again. Elek and Keenan said they wanted pancakes. Well, Keenan says, "panpakes!" :) Pancakes are so easy and I almost always have the ingredients. I just need and excuse to make them for dinner:)
The boys and I sat down to eat. They were all giggly when I sprayed "black mist" on the top of them and dumped "vampire mix" sprinkles on top!!! I called them Halloween Pancakes! They were thrilled when I put ghost marshmellows in the hot chocolate! Keenan said, "T H I S is so C O OL! :)"
I love moments like this:) The kids are happy, I'm happy, everyone is laughing and sweet. Dinner is all eaten up, bellies are full. No money spent, we didn't plan it out or go somewhere. I'm gratefull that I was able to sit back and "take a memory." -My camera still doesn't work:( It is nice to remember how good my kids are. And forget about whatever mess happened earlier.
When Shaun came home the kid all but jumped out of the skin to show what was for dinner! The kids were not let down. Shaun did a great job of being excited to eat sprinkles:) After dinner we all watched Casper. (not the best language in this "kid movie") The boy's were still sweet and happy - they cuddled all in. Elek and Keenan got a kick out of the ghosts. It was fun to watch there faces and hear them laugh when they got a joke:)
What a great Halloween dinner/movie night:)

mist spray is food coloring. But it is not a "solid color." Just does the top. Very fun to play with! And very quick to use.
