Crazy-busy, but very fun day! I slept in till 8 then messed with kids till 8:30a then got ready and started breakfast at 9:30a. We had to be at birthday #1 at 10a. When we got out the door my neighbor asked how I was doing? I said look at me. I'm crazy! Camden decided to have a tantrum and wouldn't walk or keep his shoes on. So he was flipping around in one arm while that hand held his shoe and cup o' milk the other arm was holding birthday gifts, purse and thankfully remote for automatic door. I must have been quite a site:) We got to birthday #1 - late, but everyone was happy. I was so proud of elek. Shaun was working so I had all three at the birthday party that keenan was invited to. Elek was so good at waiting for his turn to get things and helping with camden crawling on him at the table. When I told him I was so happy he was so good he told me, "Yeah, that was a good choice." Oh the nonchalance of that one. Birthday #2 was also lots of fun. Again elek and camden were dragged along. (luckily they were very willing to come) =) Elek saw these little balls in the goodie bags and said, "oh, my favorite kind of ball is in here!" There we lots of happy boys in the van ride home with all those party goodies! Thanks birthdays 1 & 2 for a fun time and having two tag alongs.
We rushed home had a very lite lunch. A friends dropped off her son while the boys caught a power nap. Then we ran out again with four boys and a husband this time, to meet my sister in law and her two kids. We went to the airplane park. So much fun! A great playground and constant low flying planes coming and going! Elek and his cousin "p" were so cute! Elek would hold her hand and escort her over the shaky bridge. So cute!
We left there to meet up with my friend and her husband for dinner. We ended up with five adults and 6 crazy kids to eat with! Amazingly the kids were ALL good!! I don't think I could have asked for anything more than 6 good kids at a restaurant! Keenan and my nephew had an interesting time sword fighting with a corn dog and french fries. I'm not sure what that was about, but they were giggling and no messes were made from it. They were entertained for quite some time with this.
When we came home the boys willingly put on pj's. Elek, Keenan and I played in the dark bedroom with a glow stick for awhile. Then we all watched the last bit of a Disney show and it was off to bed.
It was wonderful to go the whole day with everyone being happy and good with so many transitions! Hooray:) Thanks boys:)
