I didn't get a picture,but I wanted to remember....
I dropped my boys off at their Grandparents the other day. Before I left I went outside to say good buy to them. They were running Grandpa all over the back yard. Then Keenan told me he found baby mice. Grandpa holds up a container with four or five very new baby mice. He tells me he can't let them stay by the house and that he didn't want to get rid off them, but just couldn't let them stay. Well, Keenan caught on real quick what this meant! Keenan says, "Grandpa, You can't kill Heavenly Fathers creations!!! He will be so sad!!!" I quickly tell them that they can go find a new home for the mice at the bottom of the hill. But they can't go check on the mice because they will have to crawl to a new place so they can be protected. Then all were happy and the boys trotted down the hill to find the baby mice a new home.
This just cracked me up 1) you can tell what the sunbeam class has been talking about and 2) I just got this very same lecture because many poor unfortunate bugs found their resting place on my window during our 12 hour drive. Elek had asked why there was so much bird poop on the window and when I told him it was bugs not poop the discussion went further...Keenan asked me what I will do with all these bugs. I told him I'll just wash them off at the gas station. He very sadly asked me how they would ever be resurrected if I washed them off the window. I said "It a good thing Heavenly Father makes so many bugs." Then that got us on a totally different topic about bugs....
